Now on to the second challenge I have for you today!!! That would be The Creative Belli Challenge!!! The Creative Belli Challenge has now changed its posting schedule. We will now be posting challenges every other Wednesday. Just like the Truly Scruptious Challenge. And LUCKY for me, they fall on the same days.
Here is my card for this challenge:
This weeks Creative Belli Challenge is to use Jumbo Eyelets and/or Jumbo Brads. I used both on my card, but you cant really see the jumbo eyelets due to the ribbon I threaded thru them. The white ribbon on the right is threaded thru 2 jumbo eyelets. The big world stamp used as the background is also embossed with a cuttlebug embossing folder Diamonds in the Rough. I have had this stamp for a while now and havent really used it. I had this card in my head for a while, but no time to put it to paper. It didnt really turn out like I saw it in my brain, but I had fun with it. On the left hand side, I used a JUMBO SU Star Brad on the bottom and in the center of the flower, I used a SU Filagree brad.
So head on over to the Creative Belli Blog and check out the rest of the Design Teams creative inspiration. We have some great ideas to spark your creativity. We too have the Mr Linky to link your creation up to our site so we can find you. If you post to Splitcoaststampers or Creative Paper Planet, please use the keyword CBC64.
Happy Stamping and make it a great day!!! Thanks for stopping by my blog!!! Please leave a comment so I know you have been here!!!
Card Recipe:
Stamps: Tin Can Mail (World Map), Stampin Up (sentiment)
Cardstock: SU Chocolate Chip, SU Brocade Blue, SU Whisper White
Papers: SU Oxford (retired 2006-07 Catalog)
Inks: SU Brocade Blue, SU Chocolate Chip
Accessories: SU Chocolate Chip Grograin Ribbon, SU White Organza Ribbon, Jumbo Eyelets, SU Star Jumbo Brads, SU Filigree Brads, Prima Flowers
P.S. Have you ever completed your card and you end up liking the result but then looking at the pictures you realize what you dont like or would rather change??? Well I did this with this card. The words are just too stark and needs something added to them, but I didnt have time to fix them. So stay turned for the updated version. I can either IMPROVE this card or ruin it lol. Time will tell.

A Sympathy Card
I needed a Sympathy card for some dear friends of ours. Jays best friends mom passed away last weekend. My heart goes out to them and their entire family. Sending hugs and prayers for all involved. We will miss her.
I wasnt feeling very creative, so I followed the same concept of a previous card I had done and I really liked. You can see this card here.
I just used different colors and papers. This is an entire card made with all Stampin Up products minus the Nestibilities Die Cuts to cut the main image.
Now that the official tax season is past, I will be posting more on a regular basis.
Thanks for stopping by my blog and make it a great day!!!

Belli Challenge #62 - Cello Bags
Its Creative Belli Wednesday and this weeks challenge is to do something creative using Cello Bags. You know the bags you have stashed waiting for party favors. Well, instead of just filling the bags with your treats and tying them off with ribbons, dress them up!!! There are so many cute and different ways to dress them up, we have some great ideas for you this week!!!
I just used a basic tent card with one lip and sealed it with sticky tape. Punched a half circle at the top un which to stick the top thru and then tyed it off with a matching ribbon. The side view gives you a better view in which to put it together.
Of course with Easter Sunday coming this Sunday, what better way to leave your favorite peoples these cute little treats!!!
Please check out the Creative Belli Blog to see all the great ideas in which to use these cello bags, Im sure you will be surprised with all the awesome ideas!!!
Thanks for stopping by my blog and make it a great day!!!!

Truly Scrumptious Challenge #4 - Flower Power Sketch
It's time for this weeks Truly Scrumptious challenge!!! We have had such a great response to our challenges, it is awesome to see everyones creations, I hope you are all having as much fun with these challenge as we are!!! So lets move on to the next challenge.
Our Host this week is Mina!!! What a talented lady!!! Dont forget to hop on over to her blog and leave her some love!!! She has created a fabulous sketch for us with an added a twist. That twist is called Flower Power. We all love to create flowers, let us see your best ones. Go crazy for flowers this week. They can be store bought or home made, it doesnt matter and above all, have FUN!!!
Here is the sketch Mina has made for us. I really enjoyed this sketch!! Thanks Mina!!!
And here is my take on this challenge:
As you can see, I used one of my BRAND SPANKIN NEW Whiff of Joy stamps!!! That is because they are SPONSORING this challenge!!! Thats right, you can win 2 images from Whiff of Joy!!! Now that is a GREAT reason to get started on this challenge NOW!!! Hop on over to the Truly Scrumptious challenge blog and leave your link to your creation with Mr Linky. Thats right, we have added Mr Linky to the blog to make it easier for everyone to leave their link to their work. Please make sure you leave the link directly to your challenge item and not to your general blog address.
I paired up this gorgeous Whiff of Joy (Willows w/Umbrella) stamp with Basic Grey's brand new Porcelain papers. I also used Stampin Up's colors of Cameo Coral, Barely Banana and Sage Shadow. I used the blender pen with ink pads to color her with. All of the words I created in my Word Processor. I do want to give credit where it is due. The rain, rain go away sentiment was totally inspired by my good friend Joan Ervin and this image from her blog. Ever since I saw that, I knew I wanted to use that in some way. Then the idea popped in to my brain, what little girl doesnt sing that when shes out playing in the rain. I just fanned mine out more to show all the words. Thanks Joan, you truly are an inspiration!!!
Thanks for stopping by my blog today! Make it a great day!!!
