Featured Stamper Challenge: Just Joan Ervin!!!!

I made this card tonight for the Featured Stamper Challenge over on Splitcoaststampers. Here are the rules for the Featured Stamper Challenge:

Go to her gallery and CASE a card, following these simple guidelines:

CASEing Guidelines

1. Change 2 or more things on the card. It could be a color combo, embellishments, backgrounds, or even the main image could be different -- but similar because you don't own the exact image. List the changes in your description.

2. Give credit to the original stamper. Put a link to the original card in your description.

My good friend Joan Ervin was the Featured STamper today so I had to play. I chose this card from her gallery to case: http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/photo/1315025?cat=500&ppuser=28771

So here are the items I changed for my card. I changed the color from Green to Turquoise. I changed the stamps and I added a dotted background in place of the glitter on the layered pieces.

She has such a gorgeous gallery, you could get lost in there for hours. Thanks Joan for all the inspiration you give to me and everyone else who sees your work!!! Keep on Stamping Girlfriend!!!

Card Recipe:

Stamps: SU Pocket Silhouettes, not sure what set the Thank You comes from
Ink: Staz-On Jett Black and Tempting Turquoise
Paper: Whisper White, Basic Black, Tempting Turqoise, Pink Flamingo Designer Series Paper
Accessories: Nestibilities, Cuttlebug, Word Window Punch, rhinestones from stash,

Newest Family Member

This little kitty is our newest family member!!! Her name is Zip. We named her after a really cool dog in one of our favorite movies. Her face looks like a bat face with a real pointy nose. She is 6 wks old and only weighs in at 15 oz. Poor thing is still looking for her mommy. Needless to say our other 2 older cats want nothing to do with her. A lot of hissing going on there.

I will post more photos in the next few days!!!
